Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Full Stack Developer to build robust, scalable ecommerce websites on platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce, and non-ecommerce sites using Next.js. This role involves working on both client-facing projects and internal systems. You'll work on large codebases, refactoring and streamlining them into clean, maintainable, and scalable code to ensure long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy custom eCommerce stores on Shopify and BigCommerce that are tailored to meet client requirements, including full data management.
• Develop high-performance non-eCommerce websites using Next.js, emphasizing clean code practices, exceptional user experience, and rapid load times.
• Architect, build, and maintain internal systems with Next.js, including integration with databases and implementation of cron jobs for scheduled tasks.
• Refactor and optimize large codebases to improve maintainability, scalability, and performance, ensuring adherence to modern development standards.
• Build and maintain WordPress sites, including Divi theme, installing and managing plugins, regular site updates, and implementing ongoing improvements.
• Execute comprehensive PageSpeed Insights optimization strategies across all projects to ensure consistent rapid load times and superior performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, to ensure seamless integration of systems and alignment with business goals.
• Participate actively in code reviews and technical discussions, contributing to the establishment of best practices and robust development processes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Next.js, React.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Experience building eCommerce stores on Shopify and BigCommerce from start to finish.
• Demonstrated ability to develop high-performance websites and web applications with clean, maintainable code.
• Proven expertise in working with and refactoring large codebases to achieve scalability and maintainability.
• Skilled in building and integrating REST APIs using Next.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Familiarity with database systems including MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and modern deployment platforms like Vercel.
• Understanding of serverless architectures, including Vercel Serverless and Edge Networks, with experience in AI SDK integration.
• Well-versed in networking and security protocols including HTTP, SFTP, SSH, SMTP, DNS, SSL, and WebDAV.
• Experience with OpenAI APIs, version control tools (Git, GitHub), SEO best practices, and graphic design fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of pagespeed optimization techniques and overall web performance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
